- Sieve maida, powder cashew nuts, and mix both well.
- Take two cups of sugar, add 3/4 cup of water, and pour in a thick-bottomed pan.
- Lower flame and stir the syrup till it reaches a one-thread consistency.
- Then add cashew-maida mixture to the syrup.
- Start adding ghee little by little while stirring the mixture.
- See that no lumps are formed.
- When the mixture starts leaving the sides of the pan, add the rest of the ghee and pour the mixture in a ghee-greased plate.
- While still hot, cut into desired shapes.
