Who doesn’t love pineapple? And this smoothie is amazingly simple to make!
All you need is one cup of vanilla yogurt, ice cubes and one cup of pineapple chunks, blend together and you have yourself a delicious smoothie in seconds!

With tropical mango and a squeeze of lime juice, this is a fragrant and refreshing smoothie for warm summer nights.

Serves: 2
Ingredients
  • Flesh of two mangoes
  • ½ cup natural yoghurt
  • 1cup milk kefir or organic, unhomogenised full cream milk
  • 2cm piece of ginger, peeled
  • juice of 1 lime
  • 1 tsp cardamom powder
Instructions
  1. Add all ingredients to the bowl of a high-powered blender. Blend until smooth.
  2. Serve in two tall glasses and drink immediately.

Strawberry Smoothie

Strawberry Smoothie
For me I love getting the first strawberries of the season because they are always the sweetest and most flavorful. To enjoy the seductive perfume of the season’s first berries for more than a week or two, I like to freeze them.
This makes that sweet smell of spring available to me any time of the year. While they’re not quite the same as eating a fresh one, if you freeze them right, they’re great for pies, smoothies and on ice cream.

Ingredients

  • 25gms frozen strawberries
  • 1/2 cup yogurt (or silken tofu)
  • 1/2 cup milk (or soy milk)
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup

Directions

  1. Add all the ingredients to a blender. Unless you have a very high-powered blender it will struggle with whole frozen strawberries.
  2. Blend until smooth.
