Palakura pappu Andhra style Recipe |
Ingredients :
Palakura : 2 bunches
kandi pappu(yellow lentils / toor daal) : 1 1/2 cup
Green chillies: 3
Oil- 4 spoons
Turmeric (optional) - 1pinch
Mustard seeds- 1 tea spoon
Chenna dal- 1 tea spoon
Red dry chillies (broken) - 3
Black gram (urad dal-husked) - 1 tea spoon
Sesam powder - 1 tea spoon
Curry leaves- 10
Coriander chopped- for garnishing
Procedure
- Preparation of Palakura pappu Andhra style:
- Clean and boil the Kandi pappu, Palakura chopped and green chillies in a pressure cooker.
- Pressure Cook this for 3 wizils.
- After that remove this pappu from pan and Smash the boiled pappu and all the ingredients by add salt.
- Take pan pour oil and heat it. Add Mustard seeds, Chenna dal, Black gram, Red dry chillies, Sesam powder, Curry leaves and Turmeric into oil and fry them.
- Add this to the pappu and boil the Palakura pappu for few minutes on low flame.
- This Palakura pappu Andhra style goes well along with rice, roti or chapati.
