EGGLESS NAN KHATAI


Nan Khatai - Indian buttery cookies, are simple to make if you ask me. It's the recipe you would want when you suddenly crave for cookies. You have the option to choose between ghee (clarified butter) or unsalted butter. I would recommend ghee. And I strongly recommend it. Please stop thinking about your waistline for some good things in life.

Ingredient Name- Quantity Unit

All Purpose Flour -180 Grams

Curd- 50 Grams

Sugar Powder- 80 Grams

Butter -100 Grams

Vanilla Extracts- 3 Drops


Procedure

1. Heat butter in a pan and cream it,

2. add sugar powder, mix it well add curd, mix this and add all-purpose flour,

3. and mix this like a dough divide the dough in to equal portions

4. And make them in to round smooth balls with no cracks, lightly press some

5. Bake them in to 180 c (or 350 f) for 15 to 18 minutes, when you see that

bottoms begin to brown lightly,

6. Remove from the oven and let it cool down, transfer to a plate.
