It’s amazing how we inherit recipes through family. My Mother inherited this recipe from my granny. Onion pakoras or onion fritters is a popular Indian street food. It is one snack that is easy to prepare and tastes good too. In India pakoras are usually served with some fried salted green chilies and a green chutney or sweet chutney. this whole combo is also served with the Indian chai.
½ cup ketchup
1 tablespoon water
½ tablespoon chaat masala
½ teaspoon sugar
½ teaspoon salt

Ingredients
- Onions ½ kg (finely sliced)
- Gram flour 2 cup
- Rice flour 1 cup
- Salt to taste
- Red chili powder 2 tsp
- Fresh coriander 1 cup (finely chopped)
- Green chili as required (finely chopped or ground)
- Curry leaves 1 (finely chopped)
Cooking Directions
- Crush the onions with your hand, without adding water.
- Now add all the ingredients without adding water.
- Mix it nicely to make like rough crumbs.
- Heat oil in a skillet, when the oils hot, drop the mixture in hot oil fry till golden.ni
- Serve with ketchup right away, and enjoy.
