Kerala Chicken Curry |
This is
the most basic chicken curry is made in Kerala and I bet
that you love it. The
gravy has a base of coconut with some flavorful spices making
it a terrific combination.

INGREDIENTS
Chicken- 250 gms
Coconut – 1 nos
Onion – 100 gms
Tomato puree – 2 tsp
Ginger – 10 gms
Garlic - 10 gms
Lemon – 2 nos
Salt – to taste
Oil (Coconut) – 5 tsp
Green Chili – 5 nos
METHOD
1. Make garlic and ginger paste.
2.Chop onion and green chili, extract coconut milk.
3.Marinate the Chicken in salt and lemon juice.
4. Heat oil and sauté onion and green chili till golden brown in colour.
5. Add garlic ginger paste and fry, add the prawns and toss
6. Mix the tomato puree and simmer.
7. Add the coconut milk and mix
8. Simmer till the chicken get cooked.
9. Garnish with fried curry leaves
